What is the climate like?
The Mediterranean and Aegean coast of Turkey enjoy agreeable year round weather; however in the height of the summer it is not unusual for temperatures to reach over 35C. Make sure sun protection is always used and it is very important to drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration (we recommend only to drink bottled water and not from the tap). As in all Mediterranean countries mosquitos can be a nuisance. It is a good idea to apply repellent to ankles and any exposed skin areas. Mosquito machines for the room are also widely available in the U.K. as well as many of the resorts.
